We are excited to announce the launch of Health Care Communication, formerly DocCom, and a new online program Professional Formation under the banner of the Center for Professionalism and Communication in Health Care (PCHC) at Drexel University College of Medicine.
Under PCHC, both programs feature a modern interface, 59 modules – and many more in development, and over 890 unscripted videos demonstrating the importance clinician-patient communication skills and professional formation.
All modules share the same learning management system for assigning module activities and providing facilitators with a robust dashboard for reviewing learner results and corresponding to learners’ discussion questions.
Health Care Communication offers 44 evidence-based modules that demonstrate a range of communication and relationship-centered topics from core interviewing skills to advanced competencies. With the launch of our new platform, we built upon the model of DocCom modules with improved navigation, a comprehensive learning management system and a focus on communication skills that are important to all health care programs and providers.
Existing subscribers will migrate to the new system in the spring and summer of 2023. If you are interested in a preview of this new learning experience, please contact us to schedule a virtual demonstration.
