In Phase 1 (year 1 and year 2) you will be using your iPad to take exams with Examplify for iPad from ExamSoft. In Phase 2 and 3 (year 3 and 4) your will be using your laptop to take exams with software from the NBME. The nature of the technology marketplace is that it changes rapidly. The requirements for iPad and laptop reflect the published specifications of third parties (ExamSoft, NBME) which may change at any time.
