3) How to use MFA with Examplify for iPad
Before you begin with Examplify for iPad, read this section about using Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) with Examplify for iPad
During the sign-in process to Examplify for iPad, you will need to use Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Examplify for iPad cannot use the authentication method called : "Microsoft Authenticator - notification". Also during exams you will not be able to have your phone with you in the room so you cannot use the "Phone-text method". If you have either of these methods chosen as your default MFA method, you wil need to change it to finish signing in.
The only acceptable MFA method for Examplify for iPad exams is:

In case you are logged out of Examplify for iPad, we require that before exams you:
1) Set your MFA method to be

2) Have the Microsoft Authenticator app installed and set up on your iPad
To change your default sign-in method, follow these steps:
- Sign into Office on the web – https://office.com
- Select your account picture (or initials) in the bottom-left corner and then choose “View account”.
- In the left-menu, select “Security info”.
- At the top section, for the Default/Most Advisable Method, select CHANGE and then select "Authenticator app or hardware token-code" from the drop-dwon menu and then CONFIRM.
- If you have not yet set up "Authenticator app or hardware token-code" as a method, then select "Add Sign-in method" at and proceed to add this method. Then repeats steps above to make it your default method..
In step 4 below when in the Examplify for iPad app, after signing into Drexel Connect it will ask for a MFA verification code. To get it, go to the Authenticator app on your iPad, click on your Drexel profile and obtain the ONE-TIME PASSWORD CODE and use this code in Examplify for iPad.
4) Set-up Examplify for iPad from ExamSoft Worldwide, Inc
This is the free iPad app that is used to deliver exams in the first and second years of the curriculum. You are required to make sure your MFA settings and Examplify for iPad are set-up correctly before each exam.

CLASS OF 2028, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LOG INTO EXAMPIFY FOR IPAD UNTIL YOU ARE ON CAMPUS. DURING THE FIRST WEEKS YOU WILL BE ADDED TO THE EXAMSOFT SYSTEM.
A PRACTICE SESSION IS ALREADY SCHEDULED TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THIS SET UP AND ARE ABLE TO USE THE EXAMPLIFY APP BEFORE YOU TAKE YOUR FIRST EXAM.

5) Install Zoom and sign into your Drexel Zoom Account
Make sure to use the SSO link. All students must use these Setting Up Zoom instructions to make sure they are correctly logged into the Zoom app on their deives. Many zoom curriculum sessions use authentication and if you have not signed into your Drexel zoom account you may bot be able to join these zoom classes or meetings.
